I'm the Director os Social Media for Barkley, an integrated marketing agency based in Kansas City and the Chairmen of Social Media Club of Kansas City.

My passion has always revolved around the way people communicate & the technology they use to spread culture & ideas.  The last 10 years has only scratched the surface of what the social web has to offer to both people & business and as this infrastructure connects to wearable computing, big data & the internet of things, you can bet I'll be right in the eye of the storm.

Here you'll find my take on everything marketing, emerging & social media & agile marketing.  Please connect with me through whatever channel is your poison.

Monday Links! 4.11.2011

So I recently created a weekly email for MBB that gives a dose of links to help everyone keep up with the world of digital.

The weekly emails lead up to a monthly meeting called D&D or Digital & Donuts.  It's a place that everyone in the agency can come and discuss, learn, explore and I feed them donuts (recently fruit kabobs were added for a healthier version).

Needless to say that this focus on education in our office has really got me excited.  Raising everyone's knowledge & confidence on the world of digital is not just a "nice to do", but a necessity to the growth of the agency and the people inside of it.

Thought this would be a great place to share the weekly email content, so here ya go:

Thank you Andrea!
I thought this was a really strong article and is a good reminder to not
focus are capabilities around the tools we have. Good stuff.
