I'm Joe and you've found the small place I've carved out on the internet that I call home.

The reason I say, "Busy being Human" in my subtitle is because I feel that the connections that we make online are no different than those we've been making for thousands of years.  The technology is new, but the fundamentals are the same.  Be nice, be true to yourself and just be human! 

I'm a marketing manager for Coca-Cola and deal with brands such as vitaminwater, smartwater, powerade & Fuze.  I received my Coca-Cola Social Media Certification in 2010 and currently can be found speaking for my brands on twitter.  

I am also highly engaged in the Social Media community here in Kansas City and am the Vice President of our local Social Media Club Chapter.

I'm not a Social Media Guru or Master of any kind.  I'm just a guy with a huge passion for connecting, sharing, influence and communicating with people in my relevant world both on and off-line.

Personal Stuff!

I got my Interactive Media Degree at Northwest Missouri State in 2002 and moved to KC soon afterwards.

I am currently living life in Kansas City and have always lived close by.  I Love my town!  BBQ, great people, Chiefs, Royals and I'm even starting to get a taste for KU basketball.

I live with my girlfriend Jenny (she's pretty amazing and the one on the right)

I also live with 2 furballs Marley & Zelda

This is our newest addition, Chewie
