I'm Joe and you've found my blog. 

The reason I say, "Busy being Human" in my subtitle is because I feel that the connections that we make online are no different than those we've been making since the beginning.  The technology is new, but the fundamentals are the same.  Be nice, be true to yourself and just be human! 

I'm a marketing manager for Coca-Cola and deal with brands such as vitaminwater, smartwater, powerade & Fuze.  My job is fun and allows me to connect with people all over the country and my city.

Amazingly I'm not a Social Media Guru or Master of any kind.  I'm just a guy with a huge passion for connecting, sharing and communicating with people in my communities both on and off-line.

A little bit more about me!

I live in Kansas City and have always lived close by.  I Love my town!  BBQ, great people, Chiefs, Royals and I'm even starting to get a taste for KU basketball.

I live with my girlfriend Jenny (she's pretty amazing and the one on the right)

I also live with 2 furballs Marley & Zelda

I am a bit of a nerd.  my iphone is known in my house as "the other woman" and I can't go a morning without my google reader.  Comics, Zombies, Movies, X-box, Social Media, emerging technologies, bring it on!!!  Games and imagination are what made me who I am.  I don't care to live without either in my life.

Soon I'll have my lifestream up through squarespace. I'm a big proponant of lifestreaming and I am very excited that Squarespace will be adding this addition to their toolbox.
